Is this real poker?
Yes, we are playing Texas Hold’em on a custom-built website. There will even be a live dealer on each table to answer questions and make sure no one gets left behind.
Do I need a poker face?
Yes! We will be pairing the game with Zoom so you can see your tablemates. You will need two browser windows on game day - one for poker and a second one for zoom.
What if I am scared to play?
Life is about taking chances. But a poker lesson won’t hurt either. We will have a “rookies” table available with lessons for new players.
What is the buy in?
We can’t charge for entry (stupid law), so this game is our way of saying thank you to everyone who cares about our residents. Plus, we get to hang out at the tables and have some fun. Can I buy chips during play?
Nope, but don’t worry, you will have plenty of chips to play with.
Can I win prizes?
Yes! We have sponsors who have been super generous and have provided great prizes!
